Privacy Policy

BattleBros Royale ("BattleBros," "we," "us") is an independent, non-commercial fan revival of a top-down cartoon mobile battle royale that shut down in 2022, operated by Luke Andersen. This policy explains what we collect through battlebrosroyale.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and your choices. By using the Site or joining our beta waitlist, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

You give us:

Collected automatically: our hosting and database providers log basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp) for security and reliability. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

2. Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies and do not track you across other sites. The Site loads web fonts and a software library from third-party networks (Google Fonts and jsDelivr); your browser's requests to them may expose your IP to those providers as a normal part of serving the files.

3. How we use your information

To add you to the beta waitlist and send updates about the beta, access, and launch; to run the beta (for example, contacting people who opted in to test); to respond to your comments and questions; and to keep the Site secure and lawful. For visitors in the EEA/UK, our legal basis for waitlist emails is your consent; for security it is our legitimate interests.

4. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database storage, servers in the United States), and our email delivery provider. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or users. If the project is ever transferred, the waitlist may transfer under this same policy.

5. Data retention

We keep your signup information until you ask us to delete it or the beta program ends, whichever comes first.

6. Your rights and choices

Every email includes an unsubscribe option. You may ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing support@battlebrosroyale.com from the address you signed up with. California residents: we do not sell or share your personal information as defined under California law, and you may request access or deletion. EEA/UK residents: you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object, and to withdraw consent at any time.

7. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. You must be at least 13 to sign up. If you believe a child under 13 gave us information, email support@battlebrosroyale.com and we will delete it.

8. International visitors

We operate in the United States and store data there. If you use the Site from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the U.S.

9. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS and the signup list is stored with access controls that prevent the public from reading it. No method of storage or transmission is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; we will change the effective date above when we do.
